The journey for our distinguished guests into South India starts with a VIP meet and greet at their home airport and they board the flight to Hyderabad, the pearl city of India. Upon arrival guests will be transported in their luxury vehicles to a 5 star hotel near the airport for a good night rest.
First day of the tour starts with a late sleep in the morning to recover from jet lag. Guests will proceed straight to breakfast and a detailed briefing by celebrity speaker about South India and their upcoming travels into this majestic part of India. After breakfast we will whisk our guests to their private charter to “Hampi”, the city of ruins and a Unesco world heritage site. Check into the hotel here and proceed for lunch at the property. After lunch our prominent guests will be taken for a walking trail from the hotel. Here witness delightful views of the rock strewn landscape of Hampi with its glorious sunsets. After the enchanting view of few temples of Hampi and rejuvenating walk around the ruins return to the hotel for some dinner and light evening entertainment.
This day begins early with a must do activity of Sunrise tour of ruins of Hampi. It is a different experience altogether to visit the sites and monuments in the morning sun. Guest enjoy the sites and calm of the wonderful morning and return to hotel for some breakfast. Following breakfast our guests will be provided some rest and relaxation at the pool and SPA at the hotel property. Lunch will be served at the hotel and following lunch we will take our eminent guests for another trail into Hampi, this trail takes you back 500 years and gives you a privileged peek at the life and times of the Maharajas (Rayas) of Vijayanagara. Learn about their lifestyle, culture, and unique social and political dynamics along with magnificent structures of the royal city. Finishing the tour return to the hotel for some dinner and much need sleep for the night.
This day begins with breakfast at the hotel and then a transfer to private charter for a flight to “Mysuru”, the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. Check in the hotel will be a luxurious Palace property in this city for our guest to revel in. The tour of Mysuru starts with visit to Silk factories to view and experience in close proximity the process of manufacturing of Silk Sarees. After the 2 hour tour guest get to enjoy local cuisine in the city in one of the most talked about restaurants. Next the tour moves to Devaraja Market, this market dates back to 18th Century and is one of the oldest markets in the country. The market was designed with individual sections dedicated to different types of products. For example, one section of the market is dedicated to fresh flowers while another deals solely in Prayer materials. After the city visit guests return to the hotel for much needed rest and some specially designed SPA treatments for rejuvenating the mind and soul. Following the treatments proceed for dinner and some light night entertainment.
Early risers can choose from couple of optional morning activities and then proceed for a lavish spread of breakfast. Following breakfast guests move in their luxury vehicles for a enchanting visit to the Mysuru Palace. A three storied structure in the Indo-Saracenic style built between 1897-1912, the palace has beautifully designed square towers at cardinal points, covered with domes. Lunch will served at the hotel, following which guest get transported to Chennakesava Temple, Somanathapura. The temple was consecrated in 1258 CE by Somanatha Dandanayaka, a general of the Hoysala King. Next the tour moves to Chamundeshwari Temple, this temple was named after Chamundeshwari or Durga, the fierce form of Shakti, a tutelary deity held in reverence for centuries by Mysore Maharajas. After the visit to the holy temples guests will return to hotel for dinner and a good nights rest.
Our next destination into South India is the hill station of “Ooty” the Queen of Indian hill-stations. Guests will be transported to this hill station after a mouth watering breakfast at the hotel and check in to their suites here. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Next proceed for a visit to Toda Huts, Todas are the local tribes of Ooty and live in bamboo huts with thatched roofs that are in a semi barrel shape and have no windows. After a eye opening visit into the lives of Toda’s guests move to the botanical gardens in Ooty, laid out in 1897. Lush green, well maintained lawns, rare trees species (like the cork tree which is probably the only such tree in India, the paper bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree-monkeys cannot climb this tree), a 20 million year old fossilized tree, an Italian-style garden bordering a clear pool, a vast variety of flowering bushes and plants in myriad hues, are some of the many highlights of this garden. After the garden visit our guests move to another 5 star property in this station for a sumptuous dinner and light entertainment. Following dinner our guests return to the hotel for some nightly rest.
Our famed guests start the morning with breakfast in the hotel and proceed to the highlight of the hill station, a trip on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Travel from Ooty to Coonoor on this Toy Train. In July 2005, UNESCO added the Nilgiri Mountain Railway as an extension to the World Heritage Site of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. The site then became known as Mountain Railways of India. Next guests get to appreciate the beauty of ‘Dolphins Nose’, the tip of the peak resembles a dolphin's nose, hence the name Dolphin's Nose. It is an enormous rock formation that is entirely unique. Lunch will be at a famous eatery in Coonoor and then guests will proceed for a visit to local cheese shops / organic cheese farms and then proceed to The Tea Factory and take a knowledgeable tour about the process of tea manufacturing. Dinner will be served at the hotel and then retire for the day.
Morning breakfast will be at the hotel, following which guests get transferred in their private charter to backwaters of “Kumarakom”, a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Lunch will be served at the hotel for the stay here. We have planned out a few activities for our prominent guests to choose from, take a basic training course in the local Martial Arts ‘Kalaripayattu’ (Martial Arts was born in India and not China), canoe / kayak ride on the backwaters or visit the crafts museum, guests get to choose as per their interest and enjoy the activities to their hearts delight. Dinner will be served at the hotel with some local dance performance.
