    Game Reserve

    This day begins with a Morning Jeep Safari in the National Park and breakfast will be served in the safari on the bonnet of jeep, freshly baked goodies and breakfast savouries along with hot cup of coffee or choice of teas will be enjoyed in the jungle. Completing the safari our guests return for some relaxation and optional SPA treatments. Lunch will be served in the hotel. Next on the agenda is the Panna Town visit, located at the base of the hill, is the quaint and sleepy Panna. It is a town that has many interesting features; the Pran Nath temple and the Baldeo temples to name a couple. Panna has numerous other smaller temples and a street of stone masons, most of whom make mortar and pestles to be sold locally. The local market offers delightful bargains and trinkets. Dinner setting will be formal for our guests to revel in. This ‘Kadhai’ (Wok) dinner allows our guests to curate their own menu from an array of curry bases, meats and vegetables placed on the counter. The selections are then tossed together in the ‘kadhai’ as guests watch and get served on their table.

    Early breakfast will be followed by a boat ride on the Ken Gharial Sanctuary, as the name suggests, is famous for Gharials (Crocodiles). The exciting boat ride is the activity one needs to be able to spot Gharial in their natural abode. After this or guests will proceed to Raneh Falls is a natural waterfall on the River Ken. It is a deep canyon formed with igneous rocks rich in Dolomite and Granite in different colors such as green, pink, misty white, and red. Now return to the hotel after your early morning escapades and guests will rest a while before having lunch in the hotel. Your evening today is reserved for a Elephant safari at the park. Elephant safari is another type of Panna National Park safari that is essentially adventurous in its character. You are more likely to see a tiger on an elephant safari. The unique activity is enthralling and thrilling. Ending this last safari of the itinerary our guests will return to the hotel to unwind their tiredness. The dinner will be served in the hotel in yet another special setting for our beloved guests.

    To further your journey into India, next our revered guest will be transported in private luxury vehicles to “Kahjurao”, a UNESCO World heritage site having groups of Hindu and Jain Temples. Khajurao is also famous for its Nagara Style (North Style) and Erotic Sculpture temples. Most Khajuraho temples were built between 950 and 1050. Check in and start your visit here with some splendid lunch and make your way to your luxury vehicles for visit of the temples Best known for its rich historical charm, Khajuraho shades some of the best, most ancient temples in the world! Origins of some temples dating as back as to the 9th and 10th centuries, they’ve seen the rise and fall of several kingdoms. Complete a spell bounding experience of this ancient temple town and return to the hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel in one of their famous restaurants.

    Guests begin today’s exploits with breakfast and proceed for morning temple tour. Historical records note that the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples by the 12th century, spread over 20 square Km. Of these, only about 25 temples have survived, spread over six square Km. Our beloved guests will enjoy some local street food for lunch and then move to The State Museum of Tribal and Folk Art, it showcases works of various tribal artisans and artists.  After the knowledgeable tour of the museum we will escort our guests to Old Town of Khajuraho, replete with beautiful rustic huts and mud cottages, the old town is paved with roadways cleaner than any other Indian city. Highlight of this city will be an sight to behold the sound and light show held by the Western Group of Temples. While the temples are beautiful by themselves, the sound and light show bathes them in a whole new light, quite literally. Completing this last show our guests come back to the comforts of their hotel and have dinner here in a special setting.

  • Day 19

    The last destination of our itinerary will get our guests back to Gwalior, a historic city, it is full of palaces and glorious temples. Guests will rest and enjoy the specially crafted SPA treatments and proceed for lunch at the property. Completing lunch we will take our guests for an visit to Gwalior Fort, referred to as 'the pearl amongst fortresses in India' by Mughal emperor Babur, the Gwalior Fort is one of the most impenetrable fortresses located in the entire northern and southern India. Evidence suggests that it has been around since 6th Century. It is also the places where the second oldest reference of the number 'zero' has been found in the form of a carving inside a temple on the top of the fort. The entire fort complex is well maintained and includes temples, water tanks and palaces such as Man Mandir, the Gujari, the Jahangir, the Karan, and the Shah Jahan. Dinner will served in the hotel in an intimate private setting serving some mouth watering royal delicacies.

  • Day 20

    Breakfast will begin this second last day of the itinerary and our guests will move for a visit to the The Jai Vilas Palace, is a symbol of age-old Indian culture and opulence, preserved in the modern day. The palace also serves as a museum stretched over 35 rooms. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in the city and guests will visit Padavali, it is an fortress comprising many ancient temples. The temples have intricate carvings and one of the temples also have erotic carvings and hence famous as mini Khajuraho. The site is not just about one temple; the Bateshwar temples are a cluster of almost 200 mini grandeurs made of sandstone, devoted to lords Shiva and Vishnu. Spread over 25 acres, these shrines were built across slanted hills near Padavali. The temples were constructed in the 8th to 10th century AD. After this enchanting day at the city our loving guests will return to the hotel for some rest and proceed for a specially organised dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 21

    As all good things come to an end, this is the last day of our Wonders of Central India itinerary. Today guests will begin with breakfast and move in their luxury vehicles to Gopachal Parvat, it is a famous for the 7th and 15th century rock-cut Jain monuments. Next of the list of sites is the famous Saas Bahu Temple built in the 9th century. The Saas Bahu Temple does not mean Saas (Mother-in-law) and bahu (Daughter-in-law) but is rather a short form of Shastra Bahu, another name of Lord Vishnu. These are two temples situated adjacent to each other and are decorated with impeccable carvings and sculptures. Lunch will be served in the city and guests will be given time for some retail therapy in the city. After dinner at the hotel we will take the final journey in luxury vehicles to the airport for a final transfer to home city. VIP meet and greet will be arranged for our guests both at departure and arrival terminals.
